Nukkumatti
Nukkumatti is the Finnish name for a friendly Sandman character from Scandinavic mythology. He sprinkles magic sand in childrenīs eyes to make them sleep. He was also the inspiration for the Nukkumatti lamp by the celebrated Finnish designer Eero Aarnio. The lampīs unconventional shape resembles the cone-shaped hat that the Nukkumatti character is often depicted as wearing.
